Changing my mindset has been my winning X-factor ever since I started my journey. Mindset shifts have been the foundational piece to helping me stick with my diet, lifestyle, and behavioral changes in my life. Because I know just how much a mindset can alter your decisions, I want to share with you 14 tiny mindset shifts that are going to change your life.

#1 It’s _____’s fault ——————-> It is always my own responsibility.

#2 Everything/Everyone is against me ——————> Everything is happening for me and everyone I meet serves a greater purpose.

#3 I can’t do _____ because I don’t know ______ ——————> There will always be uncertainties, but I can do my best to start now and learn along the way.

#4 I’m not __________ —————–> I can be and do anything I want, but it’s going to take work.

#5 __________ makes me so upset —————-> I choose to take a moment to breathe, and respond properly instead of reacting to the events around me. I can only control myself.

#6 That could never be me ———–> The current narrative in my mind doesn’t show me that possibility, however, I can change my story.

#7 It’s in my genes ————-> 80% of health/disease is determined through lifestyle and diet.

#8 I hate exercise ———–> I’m just feeling unmotivated, lack guidance, and haven’t pushed myself hard in a long time, this is going to be hard.

#9 I need to please people ———–> I let my gifts and uniqueness shine so that I can add value to this world. I cannot control the thoughts and emotions of those around me, only they can.

#10 I can’t wait for this to be over ———–> I’m enjoying the present moment and appreciate all of my experiences.

#11 This is so hard ————-> I can do hard things.

#12 I have no idea where to start, I’m so overwhelmed ————–> I ‘ll do this one small action to make some progress today.

#13 That person is so stupid, how could they say something like that ———> All opinions are valid, it is my duty to show compassion and not force my view upon them.

#14 I’m a victim of _________ —————> I decide my reality, I choose my feelings, actions, and thoughts. It am responsible for my life.

Your mindset can make or break your day – everything you experience is based on your thoughts. The exact same thing can be viewed in a million different perspectives based on the mindset of those involved. Change your mind, change your life.
